Serving Nepean from 36 Capital Drive, Nepean · 24/7 monitoring · 613-233-1115
Our office is at 36 Capital Drive — so when a Nepean customer needs a technician, a battery, or just an honest answer, we're minutes away, not a call centre away. We've been protecting Nepean homes and businesses from this address since 1999.
A lot of Nepean was built between the 1960s and 1990s — Craig Henry, Trend-Arlington, Barrhaven's older edges, Crestview, Tanglewood — and thousands of those homes still have hardwired alarm panels and window contacts from the 80s and 90s. That's good news: in most cases we can take over the wiring and sensors you already have, connect them to a modern First Alert ProSeries or VISTA H3 panel, and you get app control and 24/7 monitoring without repulling a single wire.
We're the only alarm company most Nepean residents can actually visit. Drop by 36 Capital Drive to see a panel and a doorbell working on the wall, pick up a yard sign, or sit down with us and design a system — Monday to Friday, 8 to 5.

Three ways to do this
That one answer decides everything else — and in a lot of Nepean houses the panel that is already there can stay — on an app, or just monitored.
Our First Alert line, the one we are a Premier Pro Partner for. Usually the VISTA H3, or a ProSeries touchscreen, fitted and monitored — everything quoted in writing first.
A DSC, Honeywell VISTA, Qolsys or 2GIG panel usually stays exactly where it is — we add a communicator, keep your keypads and sensors, and it goes on an app.
A working panel and a real phone line is all this needs. We change who it dials and nothing else — no app, no new hardware, nothing to buy. $9.99 a month the first year.
In Nepean, specifically
Much of Nepean was built between the sixties and the nineties, and a lot of those houses still have the DSC or Honeywell VISTA panel somebody put in years ago. Most do not need replacing. A VISTA or a DSC PowerSeries takes an Alarm.com communicator and keeps its keypads, and an old dialer panel can go onto Alarm.com with the Universal Communicator. Look yours up and it tells you which.
If your alarm used to call out over a phone line that has since been cancelled, it may not be reporting to anybody. Alarm.com reports over its own cellular radio — no phone line, and your home internet becomes a second path where the equipment supports it. If you are not sure whether yours still reports, call us and we will tell you how to check.
A single shop, office or home business uses the same plans as a house. The Commercial plans are for owners with several locations who want them on one dashboard. Price a single location or see the multi-location plans.

Questions
No. Nepean is our home base — our office is at 36 Capital Drive — so there's no travel charge anywhere in Nepean, and appointment windows are tight because we're local.
Almost always. Homes in Craig Henry, Trend-Arlington, Crestview and similar 1970s–90s neighbourhoods usually have reusable wiring and contacts. Send a photo of your keypad through the quote form and we'll confirm the same day.
Yes — 36 Capital Drive, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. See the equipment working, meet the people who'll answer when you call, and get a quote on the spot.
Yes. 36 Capital Drive, Nepean, Monday to Friday, eight to five. No appointment and no ticket number — bring a photo of your keypad if you want a straight answer on whether it can stay.
Usually not. Honeywell VISTA and DSC PowerSeries, Neo and Pro panels take an Alarm.com communicator and keep the keypads you already have. Older panels with a phone dialer can use the Universal Communicator. A Qolsys panel already has Alarm.com built in and just needs monitoring.
Lanvac, our ULC-listed station, calls the people on your list first and then follows the dispatch choices you made — notify only, a guard, or the police. Guard response is optional and charged per callout by the guard company. Inside the City of Ottawa the police are the Ottawa Police Service. A police false-alarm fee applies under a City of Ottawa by-law — about $180 plus tax at the moment, set by the City, and it can change. It is not our fee and we do not collect it.
